a quick look at Warsaw in summer...

Let us take you for a walk through Warsaw. Just a part of it...

Marie Sklodowska-Curie's place of birth near the Old Town. She was famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity. Also the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes - in chemistry and physics. She discovered two elements - polonium and radium.

ATP style - blue version.

a walk through the Old Town.

the Old Town square is a picturesque place with old terraced houses sorrounding the square. A perfect place for a sunny day walk.

That's an entrance to one of the restaurants or rather its outdoor seating place.

One restaurant offered Chopin - vodka version.

Malwi at her best - shopping ;)

Where the old meets the new.

St. Anne's Church in the Castle Square. At that time there was a wedding hence the white car.

Although there was nothing interesting inside, the outside of this shop looks nice.

This street is called Krakowskie Przedmieście and it was tranformed into a lovely walking path.

We also had time to drink some bubble tea :)

I took hibiscus and Malwi cranberries. Without the black bubbles. They are not tasty. We prefer the yoghurt ones.

Those two were amazing ....

But those were ohhhhh terrible ....

See. Bubbles make you happy! :) and blurry LOL

After a day full of ATPing, fun and sun we were getting ready to see BATMAN "Dark Knight - Knight Rises" it was really good in IMAX, the best version since "Batman Returns" from 1992 by Tim Burton.

Here we are almost ready to go :)

On our wahy to the cinema ... and Hanna was Tweeting .. as always LOL :)

OK, so when you come to Warsaw you get to see that building. It is called Palace of Culture and Science. It was built in the 50s last century and was a gift from the Soviet Union to the people of Poland. That times passed and majority of people in Poland hate that building considering it as a symbol of past Soviet domination. It's ugly and useless and thanks God there's only one like this in Poland. We wouldn't stand more.

ATP night style. Kinda cool way to protect your bike from the thieves, huh? :)

Who doesn't love DB?

DB add in the underground. You see he did that for H&M (Hanna & Malwi :D )

Oh and at 2am I finally found something interesting :P

Sunny Sunday in Wilanów, one of Warsaw's districts. Home of one of the most beautiful palaces in Poland. It was a home of Polish kings. Also known as the Polish Versailles, though there is only one Versailles, the one in France. :)

Later that day we went to a huge park - Łazienki Park (the word means "bathrooms", however, no connection!). Honestly, I do not know whether there was some Chinese holiday/celebration/etc. but they had these decorations all over the park.

In the park you will find Fryderyk Chopin's monument. During summer there are piano concerts here.

ATP boat style! Available for everyone. Isn't that a nice way to spend Sunday?

Palace on the Water. There is a funny story with that one. Back in the past when Michael Jackson visited Poland he wanted to buy it. He was not allowed to because it was explained to him that this is a part of National Trust, not for sale.

Stage of Roman theater. Check out these actors. LOL.

Greetings from Warsaw from me :)

 till the next post.
H&M :)

PS: photos by us :)
